Salutations!
I'm Bebe Fischer. I have always had a deep respect for animals. I was raised as an only child, although we always had pets in the household. They were more than animals to me. They were my siblings, confidants, and my truest friends. I have worked with animals in multiple capacities since I was nine years old. I have been a caregiver, trainer, and even took pets and exotic animals to children's classrooms and parties to teach the kids about how to care for the animals, about the way they live, and the importance of animal welfare and advocacy.
When I entered my mid twenties, I was introduced to the metaphysical world. I discovered the art of divination. I continued to delve into the metaphysical world and explored different types of healing modalities. In 2018, I became a Reiki Practitioner certified by the "Center of Inner Wisdom" in NY. I'm on my way to becoming a Reiki Master very soon.
I am an empath and have strengths in all of the clairs, especially clairaudience. In June of 2025, my Shih Tzu, Mickey, crossed the rainbow bridge. I was devastated and experienced much grief after Mickey's passing. The love and companionship that you receive from a beloved pet is completely different from any type of human-to-human relationship. It is pure and unconditional.
That period of my life raised many questions inside of me. How could I have helped Mickey more? Is it possible to communicate with your animal friends better and more clearly? How can I use the skills that I have to help humans and their animal companions?
That was when I was led to the art of animal communication. I have done much research and study on animal communication and behavior. Recently, I was certified as an animal communicator through a "Journey to Healing" course.
Beyond being certified in Reiki and Animal Communication, I have my BA in Fine Arts: Performing Arts, with a minor in Creative Writing and an emphasis in poetry, from the University of Arizona. I intend to incorporate all of my skills within this business.
I am looking forward to meeting you and your animal companion. I wish to help you create a stronger bond with your pet. To help you heal in your body, mind, and soul, as well as to help your pet heal if they are in need.
What's In a Name?
Fischer is my family name, and choosing to use it was a way of bringing something deeply personal into this work. It represents my own journey, my connection to my ancestors, and the experiences that have brought me to this place-creating a space where animals and people can connect, heal, and grow together.
The feather represents the owl, intuition, communication, wisdom, and the gentle connection between the physical and spiritual worlds.
The fern carries it's own beautiful symbolism: resilience, growth, renewal, protection, and the ability to thrive while remaining rooted.
Together, Fischer's Feather & Fern Intuitive Arts represent the heart of what I hope to offer- A place to listen, connect, heal, and honor that special loving bond between people and their animal companions.
Meet O' Hara

Meet O'Hara, the heart and soul of Fischer's Feather & Fern Intuitive Arts. O'Hara is a barn owl, chosen not only for her beauty but for the symbolism she carries.
The barn owl's natural heart-shaped facial disc feels like a beautiful reflection of the love and compassion at the center of this work. Owls have long been associated with wisdom, intuition, observation, and the ability to see what may not always be at first glance- all qualities that reflect my journey into the intuitive arts and animal communication.
O'Hara also carries a very personal connection to my mother, making her presence in this story especially meaningful to me.
The Name O'Hara connects me to my Irish heritage.
Hara is the Japanese word for "abdomen", and is associated with the core of the body in Japanese traditions. Because Reiki originated in Japan and has become such an important part of my own journey, I love this unexpected bridge between O'Hara's name and Reiki.
There is also a playful nod to Catherine O'Hara, whose name brings another piece of me into O'Hara's story-my love of creativity, and the craft of performing arts.
O'Hara's glowing heart represents the heart chakra, symbolizing love, compassion, healing and the bond shared between humans and animals.
O'Hara is destined to become much more than a mascot. She has many adventures ahead, and my hope is to bring her to life in ways that inspire children and adults alike to explore intuition, compassion, and our extraordinary connection with animals. For now, I'll simply say that O'Hara's story is only beginning...
